The functions for coil tubing stripper elements are both safety and operational. Stripper elements, also referred to as packers, are designed to seal between the coil tubing and the outside world. This prevents well fluids from escaping into the air in general use and emergency situations. Urethane is often used as the material of choice for these elements as it can operate in tough environments and can resist aggressive chemicals.
Our dual durometer stripper elements are made from specialty BoKure™ urethane compounds that display exceptional resistance against water, diesel oil, and chlorine. The general operating temperature range of the elements are -51°C to 93°C (-60°F to 200°F).
Door seals are stocked in custom sizes and materials.
Aftermarket seals are available in Shaffer, Townsend, Sentinel and Hydril styles.
Composed of Hydrogenated Nitrile and Carbon Steel. Common line sizes include 3/16”, 7/32”, ¼”. 5/16”, 3/8”, 15/32” and slickline.

A3 Elements are a three-piece element that contains a coil spring in the heel. Common API sizes include 1.900”, 2-1/16”, 2-3/8”, 2-7/8”, and 3-1/2”.
Diyak Seals offers Baker and Otis vee packing for blowout preventers and wireline equipment. Vee packing is available in Kevlar reinforced Nitrile, Fluorocarbon, and AflasT, as well as, Ryton and Molyglass PTFE plastics.
